Rev. Robert C. Creasy

Rev. Robert C. Creasy, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bishop E.C. McKinley and Bishop Curtis Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery, Hickman County.
The Creasy family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Bob entered into this life on October 14, 1938 in Greenbrier, Tennessee to the late D.D. Creasy and Aldora Carnahan Creasy. Bob led a devoted Christian life to his Lord and Savior and immersed himself in the enrichment and spiritual care of the church. Rev. Creasy had been appointed by the Church of God of Prophecy as a Bishop and both as a District and Regional Overseer. He had pastored churches in Alabama, three churches in Mississippi, and for the last sixteen years pastored and loved the Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy. He also served as the Tennessee Director of the Heritage Ministry. Bro. Creasy leaves behind a legacy that will long be remembered for his tireless work and faithful devotion.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Lou Hensley Creasy; sons, Don Creasy (Leigh) and David Creasy; grandchildren, Robert Andrew Creasy, Jessica Creasy Nix, Brandon Kyle Creasy, and James David Creasy; great grandchildren, Brooke Hensley Nix and Cameron Michael Nix; and a brother, Donald Wendell Creasy. He was preceded by a brother, Henry Dennis.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Shock, Raymond Curtis Shock, Terry Bear, Boyce Ardry, Steve Ardry, and Ronnie Denton.
