Rev. John Richardson

Rev. John Richardson age 89 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Lowery Cemetery.
The Richardson family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Rev. John entered this life on June 18, 1930 in Cumberland City, TN, son to the late Evan and Elnora Richardson. Rev. John was a faithful member of Mt Sinai Baptist Church, and was a former Pastor for multiple Baptist Church’s. Rev. John served his community and his church, but most importantly, served his Lord and Savior.
In addition to his parents, Rev. John was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Richardson; son in law, David Patterson; daughter in law, Mary Richardson; grandson Brian Stafford, and his three infant children.
Survivors include his loving children, Brenda (Richard) Stafford, Lanora Jean (Ron) Parker, Bernice Patterson, Karen (Jeff) Hamm, Everett Lee (Kay) Richardson, Dale Richardson, and Ray Thomas (Judy) Richardson. Rev. John also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
