Rev. Douglas Terry

Rev. Douglas Wayne “Bro. Doug” Terry, age 72 of Dover, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2020.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Griffins Chapel Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Justin Warren and Rev. Lawrence Golden officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Terry family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Bro. Doug entered this life on October 29, 1947 in Monterey, TN, son to the late Roy and Mildred Terry. Bro. Doug was a faithful servant for the Lord where he pastored multiple churches and served on the mission field.
Survivors include his loving wife of soon to be 50 years, Peggy Terry of Dover, TN; daughters, Kimberly (Herbie) Fox of Cookeville, TN, Ginger Terry of Smyrna, TN, Lisa Terry of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Donald (Linda) Terry of Lenoir City, TN and Dale (Mary) Terry of Bethpage, TN. Bro. Doug also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
