Retired Master Sgt. Kenneth Wilson Farmer, age 87, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at his home.
Celebration of Life and Military Honors will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery.
Kenneth entered this life on July 8, 1937, in Hickman, TN to the late Joe and Ernestine Farmer James. He was a Retired Vietnam Veteran of The United States Army, having honorably served over 20 years and achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Army Rangers Association and the owner and operator of Business Machine Supply Company. In his spare time, Kenneth served as a referee for TSSAA for almost 50 years, having spent many hours at middle school and high school sporting events.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pansie Terrell Farmer, and his siblings, Jimmy, Joe, and Donna.
Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy Taylor Farmer; son, Kenneth Farmer II (Andrea); daughters, Debbie Neely Hammer (Gary), and Suzanne Neely Rutherford (Don); grandchildren, Ben, Sarah, Jonathan, Michael, Julie, Jessica, and Christopher. Kenneth also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Tennova Hospice and Dr. Christopher Standley for the care and compassion shown to Kenneth during his final days.
