Ret. Maj. Jesse Foster

Ret. Maj. Jesse Darrell Foster, age 87, of Cunningham, TN passed away Saturday, 31 December 2022, at his home.

Celebration of Life will be held 12 noon on Friday, 6 January 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Irby Stanley officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Jesse entered this life on 15 March 1935, in Dawsonville, GA to the late Roy and Fannie Foster. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville and a retired Vietnam Veteran of The United States Army. Jesse was also a retired Field Director for The American Red Cross. He enjoyed woodworking and was very talented with his hands. He was a true renaissance man.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Kent Foster; siblings, Roy Foster, Louise Smith, Frances Brooks, and Ralph Foster.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Linda Jean Reed Foster; daughters, Kathyanne (Dale) Leuschen, and Karen (Tony) Bone; brother, Douglas (Jenny) Foster; grandchildren, Bert Leuschen, Valerie Leuschen, Rachel Atchley, Natalie Troyer, John Bone, and Jared Bone and three great-grandchildren.
