Renee Aquanetta Grayson-Peoples, was born July 7, 1951 to Bedell Grayson and Herman Harrison.
Renee graduated from Central High School in 1969. She was raised in Detroit, MI. She was married to Oliver Peoples and to this union two children were born, one child Dion Jermaine Peoples preceded her in death.
Renee enjoyed life, laughing, music, good food, and the company of family. Renee was called home May 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bedell Grayson and sister, Faye L. Bonner.
Renee leaves behind to cherish her memories, one daughter, Raynelle L. Cooper (Curtis); two sisters, Karen Grayson and Rhonda-Grayson Odums (Greg); two brothers, Kevin T. Grayson and Dale K. Grayson (Marian); three grandchildren, Dion, Ciara, and Ashley; one uncle, Roosevelt Grayson; two aunts, Marie Johnson and Hosie Eckford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
God saw the road was getting rough, the hill was hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered, “Peace be thine.” The weary hours, the days of pain, the sleepless nights are passed. The ever patient worn-out frame has found sweet rest at last.
