Reed Milam

Preston “Reed” Milam age 89 of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev Paul Moody, Bro. JC Harris, and Bro. Brian Veal officiating. Burial will follow in Alsobrooks Cemetery with military honors.
The Milam family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday morning.
Reed entered this life on January 8, 1930 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Homer and Christine Milam. Reed proudly served his country in the United States Army and faithfully fought in the Korean War.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ethel Mae Milam; son, Michael Milam; daughters, Sheila Wallace, Reda Muse; and sister, Jean Allen. Reed also leaves behind seven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Micha Black, Jerry Black, Frankie Myers, Russell Allen, Donnie Black, and Cory Jones.
