Rebecca “Becky” Lee Roake Lovett, 46, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
A celebration of her life will be held 3 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 at First Baptist Church, Faith Sanctuary, with Drs. David Laida and Roger Freeman officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service on Friday at the church.
Becky was born March 5, 1965 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Dick and Juliette Roake. She was the secretary for Worth Lovett Law Office; a homemaker and a second mother to many children. She was an active member and officer of the Kenwood Middle School Parent Teacher Organization. She was an avid bowler, participating in a mixed league and a ladies league; and was a bowling youth counselor. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1983.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, John Lovett; son, John Lovett II; daughter, Kaylee Lovett; son, Thor Palmer; her parents; brother, Andy (Charlene) Roake, Colorado Springs, CO; and sister, Julie Elaine (Joe) Geist, Nashville.
