Raymond Edwin Bryant, 77, Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Grace Health Care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Mulberry and Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery, Big Rock. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Raymond was born October 11, 1934 in Montgomery County, son of the late Leonard Hugh Bryant and Ethel Katie Rorie Bryant. He was a salesman in the auto parts business and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He leaves behind his loving family which include his wife, Maggie Carter Bryant of Clarksville; his children, Anita C. Goss, Mike Bryant, and Bruce Bryant, all of Clarksville; grandchildren, Danielle Nicholson, Michelle Sartain, Justin Bryant, Megan Bryant, Joshua Bryant, Austin Spainhoward, Taylor Spainhoward; great grandchildren, Luke Goss and Nicholas Sartain; and sisters, Ruby Kail and her husband the Rev. Bobby Kail of Clarksville and Juanita Cameron of New Jersey. He was preceded by brothers, Delbert and Ralph Bryant and his sister, Polly Aileen Harris.
Pallbearers will be Chris Robertson, Jason Hampton, Bruce Bryant, Mike Bryant, Nick Sartain, and Chad Nicholson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 380 Dover Rd., Clarksville, TN 37042.
