Ray Gordon Nichols, 73, Clarksville, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mr. Nichols was born April 11, 1941 in Houston County, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Nichols and Margarie Dority Tomlinson.He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and a member of Crossland Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Venus Cheryl Spalding and Tina Oakley; brothers, James Robert Nichols Jr., Ricky Striclyn and Charles Green; sister, Pam Hoppe; grandchildren, Timothy Spalding, Jr., Lisa Selig, Adam Spalding, April Spalding, Laura Flexar, Rachel Oakley, Sarah Oakley and Joseph Oakley; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Handy, Madison Handy, Johnothon Selig, Brylee Spalding, Brycen Spalding and Liam Spalding, Aidan Flexar and Aria Flexar.
