SGT (Ret.) Raymond Dean Anderson, age 59 of Clarksville, died on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home.
A Celebration of Life with Full Military Honors will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Mike Salyer officiating.
Ray was born on February 21, 1957 in Madison, WI, the son of Charles Anderson and Karen Stack. Ray retired as a Sergeant from the U.S. Army. He graduated from APSU with an Associates of Applied Science Degree and was employed at Patterson Dental Company. Ray was a member of the American Radio Relay League and enjoyed woodworking and computer work. He was a retired member of Montgomery County Sheriff's Department Volunteer K-9 Unit.
He is survived by his wife, Petra Houben Anderson; son, Riley Anderson; mother, Karen and stepfather, Daryl Stack; sister, Kari Massay; brothers, Eric Anderson and Bobby Wright; aunt, Jean Carter; brother-in-law, Arthur Houben.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
