Randy Wayne Clifton, born November 18, 1957, to James Clifton and Ann Smith Clifton in Evansville, Indiana, left the ones he loved on August 28, 2024, after a brave fight with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
He had a larger-than-life personality, generous spirit, and loving heart. He was a proud Veteran, who spent seven and a half years in the United States Air Force, serving as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. He then attended Austin Peay State University and studied computer science, selling and servicing computers for eight years. He proudly worked for 12 years for the United States Postal Service in Nashville, Tennessee as a clerk and delivery supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, baseball with his boys, beach volleyball, working sound and lighting for a variety of bands, and spending time with his family. He served on the technology team at First Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee and was Chaplain for the Prayerborne Eagles Christian Motorcycle Association. Those he leaves behind to grieve his absence include wife, Barbara; sons, JW (Beth), Brandon (Brooke), Jeremy (Charlsie); sister, Tammy Mann; favorite aunt, Mary Meek; grandchildren, Valerie, Chloe, Wyatt, Julianna, Brody, Braydon, Jaxson, Harper, Charlie, Gunner, and great-grandson, Chance.
Life will not be the same without him, but how thankful we are to have been loved so fiercely. No service is planned. Celebrate his life and your memories of him in whatever way brings you joy, and if you need a way to honor him, the Parkinson’s Foundation is one we will always support.
Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to Randy’s family at www.NaveFuneralHomes.com
