Ralph Lynn

Mr. Ralph Lynn Sr., age 94 of Erin, TN, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in Richardson Cemetery with full military honors.
The Lynn family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
Ralph entered this life on June 27, 1922 in Indiana, son to the late Ralph and Mammie Davis Lynn. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp, and was a proud WWII veteran. After his time in the military, Ralph continued serving by becoming the President of Southern Gage where he helped grow the plant to what it is today. Ralph also served as past president of the Erin Rotary Club.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Lynn; daughter, Barbara Mccarty; and sisters, Betty Ross, Helen Parr, and Lucile Storms.
Survivors include his son, Ralph Lynn Jr; daughter, Linda Brooks; daughters by marriage, Georgene Shelton, Suzzette (Garland) Wright; and son by marriage, Tommy Shelton. Ralph also leaves behind seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gene Hogan, Jeff Perigo, Jerry Tomlinson, Richard Powers, Pete Quick, and Timmy Richardson.
