Ralph Brown Sr., 83 of Clarksville passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Visitation will be from 4:30-7 p.m. on Thursday and 12 Noon Friday until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home.
He was born February 19, 1934 in Tyler Town, Miss., the son of the late James Lee Brown and Bertha Dot Fortenberry Brown.
Ralph was retired as 1 st. Sgt. from the U.S. Army after serving 24 years, was a Vietnam Veteran and had attended APSU. He was the owner of A & R Restaurant and A & R Used Furniture and a retired real estate agent. Ralph was also a Master Gardener.
In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by his first wife Anita Hemlein Brown; daughter, Brenda Lee Traylor; brother, Olin Ray Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Joyce Brown; son Ralph Brown, Jr. (Marsha); daughter, Ellen Parker; brother, Lonnie Lee Brown; grandchildren, Ryan Michael Brown, Nicole Cosgrove, Jennifer Traylor, Angela Brtek, Hollie Waynick; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; daughter by marriage, Susan (Dickie) Harris; granddaughter by marriage, Teresa Rushing and two great-grandchildren by marriage and son-in-law Joe Traylor.
