Ragen Nichols

Ragan Lee Nichols, 28, formerly of Clarksville, most recently of Pickwick Dam, TN, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Counce, TN. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forrest Hills Cemetery, Ashland City, TN with Bro. James Shepherd officiating. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 21, 1981 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of John R. Nichols and Tobi Howell Travis. She grew up in Clarksville until the 8th grade school year and then moved with her mother to Memphis. She graduated from Houston High School in Germantown, TN in 2001 and later went on to graduate from New Directions Hair Academy. In addition to her mother and father survivors include her son, Braden Miller, stepfather Butch Travis, great aunts Kitten Parker and Bettye Binkley, and great uncle Zoot Parker. Pallbearers will be Steve Travis, Chris Travis, Mike Travis, Butch Travis, Bobby Wilbanks, and Zoot Parker. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to The Darryl Worley Foundation, 325 Main St., Savannah, TN 38372.
