Quirino "Rino" Galapon, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Father David Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the hour of service Friday.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Jennings Funeral Home, Jamestown, TN.
Burial with Full Military Honors will be at Fentress Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, TN at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Quirino was born March 30, 1932 to the late Cirilo Galapon and Marcelina Parungan Galapon. He retired from the U.S. Navy and bravely served in Vietnam during his military career. After retiring from his military service, Quirino worked and later retired from Blanchfield Army Community Hospital as a Lab Tech. He was a member of St. Michaels the Archangel Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Wilma "Ruth" Dunford Galapon; second wife, Antonia Padilla Galapon.
Survivors include sons, Mark (Shelia) Galapon and Derrick (Trish) Galapon; daughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Terrell; 3 brothers and 1 sister; grandchildren, Jarrett Hall, Lauren Bischoff, Kimber Gaither, Jared Davis, and Grayson Terrell; 4 great-grandchildren.
