PV2 De'Arius Faulk, age 21, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 13 and 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, February 14 at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial with Full US Army Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
De'Arius entered into this life on July 29, 1998 in Clarksville to parents Talisa Faulk and Alfred Lennon Gillespie II. He was a 2017 graduate of Montgomery Central High School and had proudly joined the Army in 2019. PV2 Faulk was assigned to Ft. Campbell's 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1-502D Infantry Battalion, Bulldog Company. De'Arius was a shooting enthusiast and loved going to the gun range. He also loved watching MMA combat and enjoyed training at the amateur level. De'Arius was always in a great mood and full of humor. He loved to make people laugh and always had a great time socializing with friends.
In addition to his mother, Talisa, survivors include his wife, Rachel Faulk-Gonzalez, their son on the way, Jedidiah Faulk, siblings, Deterrian Faulk, Du’Varius Thomas, Alfred Gillespie lll, A’Zyria Gillespie; grandparents, Catherine Clark, Willie McMillian, Vie Neil Gillespie, Alfred Gillespie, Sr., his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mildred and Reginaldo Gonzalez; and his step-mother, Asia Gillespie.
