Preston Byard, age 80, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will follow in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.
Preston entered into this life on July 12, 1937 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to parents Slayton and Lear Byard. He was retired from the Clarksville Housing Authority and was a member of Heart & Soul Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence and Larry Byard. Survivors include his local niece and nephews, Linda Atkins, Michael Byard, Ricky Byard, and Phillip Byard, and his sister, Lometa Mann of New York.
Pallbearers will be Michael Byard, Ricky Byard, Phillip Byard, Jessie Holt, Brandon Byard, and Randy Wall. Brian Demo will serve as honorary pallbearer.
