Phyllis Jane Blake

Phyllis Jane Blake, age 82 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 at Houston County Community Hospital. 

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Hargrove officiating. 

 Family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service Monday evening. 

 Phyllis entered this life on March 12, 1942, in Moundsville, WV, daughter to the late Forrest Wilson and Edith Bessey Wilson. Phyllis was a devoted R.N. who dedicated her life to her community. She opened and operated multiple Home Healthcare Centers and later retired from TVA as their R.N. She had a passion for sewing and painting; but her true love was her family; she will be greatly missed. 

 In addition to his parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ann Mcvitty; and grandson, Ryan Blake. 

 Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Charles Albert Blake; children, Russell Blake, Sandra (Robert “Bob”) Hargrove, Diana (Richard) Blake Brooks; siblings, Ralph Wilson, and Kathy (Roger) Terell. Phyllis also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Rebecca Blake Wilbur, Hunter Blake, Jason Bottorff, Brianna Bean, Tara Ransdell, Johnny Lee Tubbs, Khrystina Olson, Caitlin Hankins; great-grandchildren, Levi Wilbur, Sophie Wilbur, Harper Wilbur, Lexie Waldrep, Axton Stephenson, Evelyn Bottorff, Adalynn Bean, Sean Bean, Charles Bean, Alexander Ransdell, William Ransdell, Jeremy Tubbs, Chloe Tubbs, Madilynne Olson, and Riot Olson.
