Philip Lynn Haneline, 63
And Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11: 28.

He grew up in Erin and graduated from Houston County High School in 1975. Having learned the brick mason trade from his father he continued that career in Nashville with WASCO Inc. Masonry Company, until his retirement.
His joy for life and infectious smile will be greatly missed by his loving wife Laraine of Brentwood, his mother Shirley Haneline of Erin, his stepchildren Stewart Strickland and Diana Hensley and his number one pal, grandson Kizer Hensley of Brentwood. His other close family members include, son-in-law Shawn Stewart of Brentwood, sisters Sandy Haneline, Annette Pulley and Lori Moore, brothers-in-law James Pulley and Randy Moore all of Erin. Among others are his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends especially Johnna Buswell who spent much time caring for him during his illness, that will also mourn with the family. He is preceded in death by his father Maurice Haneline.
Your labors and toils are over. There will be no more weeping or sorrow, for today you begin anew where all pain is gone, and the sun will always shine. We will mourn your absence but take comfort in the fact that you are home. You left traces of yourself in every person you knew and for that you will never be forgotten. Not a day will pass without knowing you were here, and you will remain in our hearts until we see you again.
They that love beyond the world cannot be separated by it. Death is but crossing the world as friends do the seas: They live in one another still.
- William Penn
