Peggy Winfree, 68, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at her home in Clarksville.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Steel officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Peggy was born January 9, 1944 in Montgomery County, daughter of John Thomas Jenkins and Mary Frances Black Suggs. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Suggs. Survivors include her mother of Ropesville, TX, her husband, James Winfree of Clarksville, sons Jimmy and Robert Winfree of Clarksville, daughter Pam Brake (David Rife) of Clarksville, sisters Rebecca Wilkins (JR) of Clarksville and Norma Gary (Jerry) of Nashville, brothers Roy Jenkins (Cherie) of Ropesville, TX and J.W. Jenkins of Joshua, TX, grandchildren James Winfree, Josh Winfree (Kristin), Chris Brake (Jordon), Tracy Marrs (Kevin), Ashley Kelley (Brandon), Kayla Winfree, Matthew Rife, and Gracie Winfree, great grandchildren Zach Winfree, Allie Bandy, Briliey Brake, and Lane Kelly.
Pallbearers will be Chris Brake, Josh Winfree, Tim Winfree, John Yarbrough, Tyrone Caudle, and Chuck Jackson.
