Peggy Steppee

Virginia (Peggy ) Steppee, 85, Cumberland City, TN, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. L.D. Tate and Sis. Jacqueline Martin officiating. Burial will be in Cross Roads Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service Thursday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Virginia (Peggy) Steppee was born August 9, 1925 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late John Wesley Adams and Alva Oliver Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Steppee, son Larry Steppee, and grandaughter Molly White. She was a member of Cross Roads Union Church. Survivors include her daughter Vicki (Jerry) Clark of Cumberland City, brothers Rev. John Adams of Waverly, TN and Rex Adams of Ashland City, TN, grandaughters Apryl White and Miranda Smith, grandsons Wesley White, Nolas Seay, and Jaxon Smith. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
