Peggy Baggett

CLARKSVILLE – Peggy Jo Baggett, age 77 of Clarksville, passed away July 28, 2018 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m.Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Mc-Reynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday.
Peggy was born in Montgomery County on November 30, 1940 to the late Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Bearden McWhorter. She was a member of Locust Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and retired from Region’s Bank (Northern Bank) after 54 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Charles Baggett; son, Charles Dudley Baggett; and brother, Charles Wilson “Buster” McWhorter.
Left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her daughters, Charlene Baggett and Patti (Ken) Ellis; son, Billy Joe Baggett; sisters, Faye (Billy) Johnson and Mary Beth (Eddie) Adams; grandchildren, Brooksie Arrington, Mitchell Ellis, Whitney Richardson, Cody Baggett, Haly Rau, Brittney Stewart, Lexie Roper, Abbi Rees, Kacey Carter, Kammey Baggett, and Kyle Baggett; 20 great-grandchildren .
