Peggy Austin

Peggy Sue Austin, age 81 of Clarksville passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Mosaic Church, Indian Mound, TN with her son, Pastor Danny Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Indian Mound, TN.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 7 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Peggy entered this life on August 30, 1941, in Woodlawn, TN daughter to the late Reed Toler and Louise Ladd Toler. She retired from Acme Boot and was a member of Mosaic Church. Peggy enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Austin, Jr.; siblings, Herschel Toler, Willie Toler, Darlene Toler and Christine Lewis, and son-in-law, Herbert “Dan” Bryant.

Survivors include her sons, Doyle Austin, Danny (Martiza) Austin; daughter, Kathy Bryant; grandchildren, Anna Fielder, Brittany Newman, Caleb Austin, and Crissy Merrel; great-grandchildren, Alex Evans, Austin Parker, Cayden Parker, Keegan Newman, Colton Newman, Reagan Newman, Jaylyn Newman, Brylen Austin, Taylor Bowers, Addie Bowers, and Carlee Merrell; great-great-grandchild, Avery Evans.

Pallbearers will be Davy Fielder, Tyler Evans, Caleb Austin, Caden Parker, Austin Parker, Colton Newman, Keegan Newman, Joshua Reives, and Jeremy Rochet.
