Paul Moore

Paul Winslow Moore passed away April 19, 2012 at St. Thomas Medical Center, Nashville. He was born December 11, 1928 in Houston County, Tennessee, son of the late Carlisle Moore and Florence Adams Moore. Paul was an Underground Utilities Contractor and owner of Moore Construction Company in Clarksville, Tenessee. He was a member of Griffin’s Chapel Nazarene Church, Masonic Lodge # 300, Shriners, Houston-Stewart Industrial Board, and Moss’s Café Round Table Coffee Club.
A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Griffin’s Chapel Nazarene Church with Bro. Ernie Arnold, Bro. Doug Terry and Bro. Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Carl Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon. until the hour of service Sunday at the church.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Nesbitt Moore of Cumberland City, son Johnny Moore of Cumberland City, daughter Sara (Pat) Spann of Erin, brother Woodrow Moore of Jacksonville, FL, sisters Sue Hiett and Yvonne Moore, both of Nashville and Anne Ruth Walker of Clarksville, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matt Hylemon, Barry Yates, Jimmy Bass, Evan Parchman, Chris Parchman, Josh Bateman, Phillip Hagewood, and Pat Chesney .Honorary pallbearers will be Gilbert Vaughn, Bill Brake, Aaron Finch, Ronnie Dennis and Wilson Parker.
