Paul Hudson - 1927 Paul J.Hudson, 81, Cumberland City, died Saturday, April 11,2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Spring Hill Methodist Church with Bro.William Lyle officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery Muster Ground Branch of Wells Creek,Erin,Tn.. Visitation will be from 5:30pm till 7pm Monday at Nave Funeral Home Erin,Tn. and from 12noon till service Tuesday at Spring Hill Methodist Church. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 9,1927 in Montgomery County,Tn.the son of Frank Brown and Marsie Parchman Hudson.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters Rebecca Brake and Verline Hudson and a brother Dunbar Hudson. Mr.Hudson lived and worked much of his early life in Detroit,Michigan but returned to Tennessee in 1959 to rejoin his family.He retired from Tennessee Valley Authority Cumberland Steam Plant in 1992.His avid interests were farming,animal husbandry, and hunting.He possessed a wealth of oral history of the Grices and Yellow Creek Communities.He was a veteran of the Korean Confliet.He attended Spring Hill Methodist Church having professed his faith in Christ as Savior. He is survived by sisters Jeanetta H.Cheatham,Dover,Tn.Betty H.McCormack,Clarksville,Tn.and Marsie H.Hayes (Robert)Clarksville,Tn.and a brother Barnee Mack Hudson,Cumberland City,Tn.seven nieces and nephews,13 grand nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews. Members of Mr.Hudson's Sunday School Class will serve as pallbearers.
