Paul Gene Dority

   Paul Gene Dority, age 65 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.  

   A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Kevin Sugg officiating. Burial will follow in the Robert Dority Family Cemetery.  

  The Dority family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at noon. 

  Paul entered this life on August 21, 1958 in Cumberland City, TN, son to the late Robert Douglas Dority and Earlene Beechum Dority. Paul devoted his entire working career to Mitchum’s Hardware and Comfort Air where he retired after many years of service as a talented HVAC Tech. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his community. 

   In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Sammy Dority, Jerry Dority, and Jimmy Dority. 

   Paul leaves behind his loving son, Chris (Jesse) Dority; siblings, Donnie (Sandy) Dority, Susan Nichols; grandson, Laken Dority; and a host of nieces and nephews.  

  Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Sugg, Trenton Dority, Ronnie Parker, Donnie Dority, Robert Nichols, Joey Dority and Patrick Yates.
