Patsy Gayle Bryant Stagner, age 73, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Koontz and Rev. Monty Flanigan officiating. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the church.
Patsy was born on August 11, 1942 in Cunningham, TN to the late Joe and Lillian Baggett Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joe Corbin Bryant; sister, Ernestene Bryant Schmittou; daughter-in-law, Karen Grizzard Stagner; mother-in-law, Mae Stagner.
She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and retired from Jay Garment Company.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, Mammaw, and friend. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Carl Stagner; 3 children, Theresa (Phil) Arms of Cumberland Furnace, Jeff Stagner of Cunningham, Cheryl (Bryan) Sivels of Cumberland Furnace; sister, Bettye Batson; brother, Stevie (Marty) Bryant; 8 grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Arms, Cory (Mandy) Arms, Jared Stagner, Evan Sivels, Maegan Sivels, Nicole Stagner, Mason Sivels, Colton Sivels; and 4 great-granddaughters, Macy, Molly, Ryleigh, and Charlotte Arms.
Grandsons and granddaughters will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery and/or the Pat Summitt Foundation for Alzheimer’s at 520 W. Summitt Hill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37902.
