Patsy Plunkett

Patsy Ruth Hollis Plunkett, age 84, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 24, 2020, from her family home in Adams, TN.
Pat was born on May 2, 1936 in Hickory Point, TN, to the late CJ and ER Denney Hollis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vincent “Bill” Plunkett, her son, Kevin Plunkett, and four brothers and three sisters.
She was retired from Kiddie Kollege Day Care where she worked in many different capacities with children of all age groups. She was a long-time devoted member of Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church. Her strong faith and love for Jesus has prepared her for her new home in Heaven.
Left behind to cherish her memories are sons, Vincent “Buddy” (Alice) Plunkett, Kelly (Stacy) Plunkett, Dean (Sherry) Plunkett, and Victor Plunkett; daughter, Cynthia (Wayne) Harrison; stepdaughter, Jacquie (Don) Leaser; sisters, Sue Parker, Joy Blankenship, and Brooxie (Gene) Melton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Known lovingly as Mamaw, she treasured each moment making memories with her thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Chaplain John Denham officiating. The family requests that all those in attendance respect COVID-19 guidelines.
Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Avalon Hospice for their service and support, a very special thank you to Avalon personnel Maggie, Triffie, and Chaplain John.
