Patsy Bateman

Patsy Caroline Hogue Bateman, age 73, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Walton's Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Adair officiating. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Shores Cemetery.
Patsy entered into this life on October 2, 1943 in Montgomery County to the late Roland and Gussie Lee Byrd Hogue. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earnest Bateman, Sr; two brothers and four sisters. She loved helping people, evident in her work as a Nurse's Assistant. Patsy was a member of Walton's Chapel Church.
Survivors include her loving children, Earnest Lee Bateman, Jr. (Olivia), Lanell Bateman Davis (Ken) and Tracey Bateman; sisters, Louise Suiter (Butch) and Laura-Nell York (Stanley); and ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Devan Andrews, Brandon Bateman, Ernest Lee Bateman, Joseph Kennedy, Ben Kennedy, Johnathon Kennedy, and Tatt Schutz.
