Patrick Schroeder, a man who dedicated his life to serving those of others for almost two decades as a paramedic, volunteer firefighter, and police officer surrendered himself to our Lord on May 23, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ronny Raines officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Patrick entered this life on February 24, 1970 in Montgomery County, TN to Lawrence and Margaret Jane Schmittou Schroeder. He was a loving and dedicated son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His amazing sense of humor was like none other- it was infectious and only added to his unique charm. If he loved and /or respected you, you knew it and as a result, his loss is felt profoundly by many. Patrick was a former paramedic with Montgomery County EMS, Reserve Clarksville Police Officer, and volunteer firefighter for Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Service.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Margaret “Jane” Schroeder, his son, Channing, and grandchildren, Chloe, Leim, Hunter, and Rayne. In addition, he leaves his biological brother, Joshua Schroeder, and niece, Natalie, along with his “brothers from another mother”, James Merriweather and Chris McKeethan. Countless other “adopted family members” also mourn the loss of Patrick.
