Patricia Womack

Patricia Emmett Womack, 77, Clarksville, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Geoffrey Sykes officiating. Burial will be in Cummingsville Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Womack was born December 27, 1933 in Miami, FL and was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Cleveland and Katrine Davis Emmett; husband, Dr. L. Eugene Womack, DDS; and her sister, Barbara Richman. She was raised in West Palm Beach, FL, was a graduate of Palm Beach High School and received a degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University. She was formerly a teacher in the New Orleans School System. She was a loving mother, a wonderful sister, and a good friend to so many people. She was a person of strong faith and her life was guided by I Corinthians:13. Survivors include her two sons, Greg Womack and Mark Womack and her daughter, Kim Womack, of Clarksville; and her brother, Dr. John (Karen) Emmett, of Memphis.
