Patricia Ann Smith, age 74 of Clarksville, TN passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.

Patricia entered this life on February 23, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Dillion Andrew Scruggs, Jr. and Velda Rose Scruggs. She was the Unit Secretary at St. Francis in Bartlett, TN and had achieved her associate degree in Business and Nursing Science. Patricia enjoyed her dogs, cooking, watching movies daily and most of all spending time with her family. She had a caregiver’s heart and constantly put others before herself. Patricia took great pride in caring for her daughter with special needs, Rebekah, and the special needs community as a whole.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Terrance Michael Smith Sr; siblings, Annette Scruggs, Wayne & Gloria Scruggs, and Mark Wells, and in-laws, Edward Smith Jr. & Louise Smith, Edward Smith, Elaine and Brian Holoubek, and Mary Lou Connor.
Survivors include her children, Terrance (Audrea)Smith Jr, Rebekah Smith, Aimee (Jason) McAlister, Robert (Amanda) Smith; Grandchildren, Seth McAlister, Kelsey McAlister, Brett McAlister, Jonathan Smith, and Caleb Miller; siblings, Sandy (Fred) Sansone, John (Mary) Scruggs, Kathy (Jim) Owens, Dillion Scruggs III, Diane Wells, Dana Scruggs, Chris Scruggs, James (CeCi) Scruggs, Molly Smith and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, your local Humane Society, or a Special Need’s Foundation of your choice.
