Patricia Moreland

Patricia Lou Moreland, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

She entered this life on January 14, 1931 in Flint, Michigan to the late Earl and Ruth Thompson Tuller. Throughout her life, Patricia Moreland was characterized by her adventurous spirit and love for exploration. Her travels took her far and wide across the globe, with a particular experience of residing on a houseboat in the picturesque Virgin Islands for an entire year. An avid theater enthusiast, she frequently indulged in attending plays to satisfy her passion for the arts. Additionally, Patricia's nurturing side extended to the care she provided for her beloved plants, reflecting her appreciation for nature and growth. Her intellectual curiosity was evident in her love for reading and continuous efforts to expand her knowledge. She achieved her Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan, while simultaneously working as a Medical Librarian. She also spent many years volunteering for various organizations.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Moreland; son, Steve Moreland; daughter, Cynthia Becker, and her loving companion of 20 years, Leonard. 

Survivors include her daughter, Jana Cromwell and her husband, Clides; son-in-law, William Becker; grandchildren, Garrett (Angie) Becker, Kyle (Jessica) Becker, Troy Cromwell, Heather (Jose) Gaige, and Brett Moreland; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Vincent, Regan, Austin, Madelein, Cameron, Chase, and Kensie.
