Patricia Ann McElroy, 71, Clarksville, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 with Rev. Marvin Buchholz officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McElroy was born May 9, 1943 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, William Herbert and Mary Louise Graham Sheppard; brothers, William, Charles, Brandon, Robert, Buster, Larry, Raymond; sisters, Frances Wickham and Ella Mae Bellamy.
She was a graduate of Clarksville High School, attended St. Mary's Catholic School, a member of Hilldale Baptist Church, formerly worked for Montgomery County School System and retired from Acme Boot after almost 27 years of employment.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Dorris McElroy; daughters, Pam (Russ) Clark, Bonita Floyd, Lea (Scott) Davis; brother, Pete Sheppard; sisters, Margaret Nunley, Barbara Elliott, Rose Harris; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
