Otha Beatrice Cato, 79, Clarksville, died went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Revs. Jackie Wheeler and Larry Mulberry officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 1, 1930 in Jackson County, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Other Columbus and Mary Etta Lambert Wheeler; husband, Charles Ray Cato; brother, Ophlis Freeman Wheeler; and sister, Jewell Wheeler Mabry. Mrs. Cato's working career included Trane Co., and The Methodist Publishing House. A member of Red River Baptist Church, Adams, TN , she enjoyed talking to people and sharing her faith in Jesus Christ. Survivors include her sons, Rev. Charles Ray (Karmen) Cato II, Bowling Green, KY, Earl Wheeler(Heike) Cato, Clarksville; daughter, Mary Cato Lange, Clarksville; brother, Wendell Bryan Wheeler, Cookeville, TN; and Grandchildren, Barbara Reynolds (Michael) Vowell, Chelsea Cato (Ben) Harrison, Trudy Reynolds (Clayton) Tinsley, Kendra Lange, McKenzie Lange, Matthew Cato, Hadley Lange. Pallbeares are Billy Lange, Ben Harrison, Donald Cato Jr., Jeff Slate, Mark Mullens, Kevin McIntosh. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
