Oma Hinson

Mrs. Oma L. Phillips Hinson, age 91 of Stewart, TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Houston County Community Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery.
The Hinson family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
Oma entered this life on November 9, 1925 in Stewart County, TN, daughter to the late Joseph and Nannie Kirksey Phillips. Oma was a lifelong member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Oma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Hinson, brothers and sisters, Buford Phillips, Olivia Phillips, Lucille Barnes, Vernie Phillips, J.D. Phillips, and Stella Phillips.
Survivors include her loving son, Lorin Dale (Cindy) Hinson; loving daughter, Ava (Danny) Collett; grandchildren, Dane (Kayla) Collett, David Collett, Brandi (Travis) Imbush, Lorin Hinson; great-grandchildren, Xander Collett, Ella Collett, Victor Collett, and Ciara Imbush.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
