Olga Hern

Olga P. Hern, 72, Clarksville, died August 23, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Hern was a loving wife, mom, and oma. She dedicated her life to the happiness and welfare of her family. She was of the Catholic faith and it gave her deep satisfaction to help others.
She was born December 9, 1936 in Stuttgart, Germany, daughter of Gottlieb Pfisterer and Maria Reinhard Pfisterer, and was a sibling to six sisters and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hern, Sr. She is survived by her son Charles (Jessica) Hern, Jr. of Clarksville, daughters Gloria (Paul Moore) Larson of Jacksonville, FL, Mechelle (Danny) Welker of Benton, KY, Patricia (Mark) Clark of Somerset, KY, Cassandra (Billy Holtz) Hern and Angie Robinson, both of Clarksville, one brother, two sisters, seventeen grandchildren, two of which she proudly raised: Janet Plute and Steven Smith "Sonny Boy", and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
