Olen E. Shepherd, 80, Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Billy J. Wall Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shepherd was born October 22, 1932 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Effie Sinks Wall; husband, Garner Shepherd; son, Dennis Shepherd; siblings, Nora, Alberta, Ann, Joe and Ray.
She attended the Church of Christ and was a homemaker, however, in her younger years she helped her famiy work in tobacco.
Survivors include her sons, Mark Shepherd, Cadiz, KY, Kevin Shepherd, Dover; daughter, Wanda (Jim) McNeil, Clarksville; brothers, Wayne Wall, Warren Wall, both of Cunningham; sisters, Polly Wall, Cunningham, Sue Heggie, Gallatin, Evie Henry, Clarksville, Eva Sykes, Cunningham, Faye Blackwell, Cunningham; grandchildren, Tamara, David, Chester, Dustin, Eric, Brandi, Austin, Jarrett; great-grandchildren, Madison, Joseph and Brianna.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
