Odessa Black

Odessa Black, 75, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Signature Health Care of Clarksville. A Celebration of life service will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11 am with Bro. James Black officiating at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will follow in Davidson Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4pm until 8pm and Wednesday 9am until the hour of service at the funeral home. Ms. Black was born November 17, 1936 in Montgomery County the daughter of the late David and Lillian Jacobs Morgan. Besides her parents she is also Preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and Richard Black, brothers, William Morgan and David Morgan, sisters, Thelma Briley, Mary Harrison, and Louesther Morgan. Survivors include her Husband Hatton Black, grandson Richard Black (Christine), great-grandchildren, Mason, Alex, and Dustin, and her sister Wilma Lee Shelby and several nieces and nephews.
