Norma Dean Murphy, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Eads officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Norma was born on January 1, 1931 in Willow Grove, TN. The daughter of the late Hilary Clay Estep and Ada Key Estep. She worked in the food service for the Montgomery County School System and was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, CSM (R) Richard Lee Murphy and son, Danny Lee Murphy.
She is survived by her son, Larry Lee Murphy; daughter, Debbie Lee Murphy Waynick; daughter in law, Nancy Sue Crick; sister, Thelma Jean Grissom; grandchildren, Crystal Dean Tyson and Chasity Nicole Waynick; great-grandchild, Lukas Isaiah Lee Waynick.
Pallbearers will be Rico Coleman, Bradley Fugate, Jamie Baird, Lea Dudley, Duane Fugate, and Johnathan Maleski.
