Norma Meadows

Norma Lee Meadows, age 84 of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Denise Settle and Rev. Beverly Dycus officiating. Burial will follow in Ben Brown Cemetery.
The Meadows family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Norma entered this life on October 16, 1935 in Houston County, Tennessee, daughter to the late James Irvin and Christine Tomlinson. Norma was a lifelong resident of Houston County and a member of Long Branch United Methodist Church. Norma loved working in her flower gardens, but more importantly, loved spending time with her grandchildren. Norma was the matriarch of her family. She will greatly be missed.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her spouse, Billy Meadows; son, Timothy Meadows; grandchildren, Lindy Meadows, Justin Meadows, siblings, Juanita Kennunan, Willard “Tomcat” Tomlinson, and Marilynn Langley.
Survivors include her loving children, Kenneth (Susan) Meadows, Gary “Shorty” (Rhonda) Meadows, Tommy (Michelle) Meadows; and siblings, Tilton Tomlinson and Elizabeth Featherstone. Norma also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Derek Meadows, Amanda Schmidt, Randi Pulley, Lynn Broadbent, Daren Meadows, Marybeth Sheldon, Lorne Meadows, and nine great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Meadows, Daren Meadows, Lorne Meadows, Cory Schmidt, Dustin Broadbent, Scottie Pulley and Dustin Sheldon. Honorary pallbearers will be Chucky Featherstone, James Tomlinson, Eddie Tomlinson, Ricky Tomlinson, David Curtis, and Jeff Curtis.
