Nida Hamby

Nida K. Hamby, 87, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. She was born December 31, 1921 in Smolensk Oblast, Russia, and was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Kotschegarow and Eugenia Kotschegarow; and husband SSG Robert Edward Hamby (Ret). Mrs. Hamby was a language instructor and a faithful United States Army Wife. She is survived by her son, Leonard Danial Hamby, Nashville; daughters, Nena Kathrina Hamby, Liza Vera Hamby, both of Clarksville and ten grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers are Johnny Kotschegarow, Toronto Ontario,Canada, Mike and Barbara Kotschegarow, Renton, WA , Sisters, Sinaida Sewell, Clarksville,TN and Maria Boyko, Toronto Ontario, Canada. Pallbearers will be Rodney Davis, Shannon Wooten, Christopher Wooten, Lance Wooten, Thomas Langston.
