Nellie Nolen

Mrs. Nellie Curtis Nolen, age 98 of Erin, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at her home.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Nolen family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
Nellie entered this life on November 13, 1918 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Cyrus and Daisy Jordan Curtis. Nellie was a lifelong resident of Houston County and a faithful member of Griffins Chapel Church of the Nazarene where she was the oldest member.
In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Nolen, and grandson, Casey Thomas Nolen.
Survivors include one daughter, Nelda Kerr (Sam); one son, Ron “Donkey” Nolen (Gwen); and three grandchildren, Jason H. Nolen- Doerr (Eric), Shannel Nolen, and Shelli Furman.
Serving as pallbearers will be Grant Hudson, Bill Roseberry, Charles Alsobrooks, Mike Clark, Eddie Rye, Dwight Vaughn, and Jeff Rye.
