Nell Maury

Nell T. Maury, 92, Clarksville, formerly of Memphis, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Walking Horse Meadows. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memphis Memorial Park with the Rev. Dennis Neenan officiating. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Maury was born July 9, 1917 in Humboldt, TN, daughter of the late William A. and Lena Macklin Nelson Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam P. Maury. Mrs. Maury loved gardening. Survivors include her nieces Sherry (Joe) Nalley of Clarksville, Jackie (Marvin) Williams of Clarksville, Olga Thompson of Austin, Texas; great niece Amanda Nalley; great nephews Pat Williams, Chris Williams, Eric Nalley, Brandon Thompson; and sister-in-law Shirley S. Thompson of Clarksville.
