Howard Neal Alsobrooks, age 80 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Stephen Louder and Rev. Stewart Sayler officiating.
Following the service, there will be a private committal service at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the church.
Neal was born on August 25, 1935 in Houston County, the son of the late Roy Alsobrooks and Edna Averitt Alsobrooks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Lucile Mobley and Juanita (Tootsie) Simpson. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran; and a member of Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years where he served as an elder.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Bledsoe Alsobrooks; sons, Bryan (Kim) Alsobrooks of Glendale, AZ and Michael (Tonya) Alsobrooks of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Lisa (Bob) Terrell of Nashville, TN; brother, James Alsobrooks; grandchildren, Shelby Terrell, Mackenzie Terrell, Payton Alsobrooks, Jackson Alsobrooks, Leah Alsobrooks, and David Alsobrooks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church Renovation Fund at 1410 Golf Club Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040.
