Nathan Mudd

Nathan `Nate` Labrent Mudd, 29, Clarksville, died Monday, January 12, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 12 Noon Saturday at Soldiers Memorial Chapel at Fort Campbell with Chaplain Rusack officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with military honors. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Chapel at Fort Campbell. He was born June 22, 1979 in Bardstown, KY the son of Charles Poynter and Sue Mudd. Mr. Mudd was a SSG with the U.S. Army and had served three tours in Iraq including Operation Iraqi Freedom. He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife, Stephanie Phillips Mudd, Clarksville; daughters, Dominique Mudd, Shanise Mudd, Niyah Mudd; brothers, Quincy Poynter, Michael Poynter, Eric King; sisters, Shakyree Phillips and Amari Phillips.
