Naomi Nell Martin Bumpus, age 91 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Dr. Betty Meriwether and Rev. Charles “Randy” Jackson. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Naomi was born on April 15, 1923 in Montgomery County, the daughter of Charles C. Martin and Julia Allen Martin. She worked for Acme Boot Company and was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and she was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Bumpus.
Naomi is survived by her son, Charles (Linda) Bumpus; daughter, Virginia (Gene) Jackson; sister, Mary Pope; 3 grandchildren, Randy Jackson, Kim Jones, and William Douglas Jackson; 4 great-grandchildren, Caitlin Jackson, Cheryl Jackson, Shelby Jackson, and Cole Douglas Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
