Nancy Underwood

Nancy Walker Underwood, age 76 of Cunningham passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022.
Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Baggett’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Nancy entered this life on June 8, 1945 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Billy and Ruby Black Walker. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and retired from Ft. Campbell. Nancy was a wonderful cook and an easy-going person. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Robert Underwood.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John Robert Underwood; children, David Owen Underwood, James Thomas Underwood, Mary Flynn, and Haley Ray Underwood; brothers, Joe Walker, Donald Walker, and Stevie Walker; sisters, Gale Armstrong, Sue Carte, and Patricia Ladd; grandchildren; Tyler Blake Underwood, Taylor Brooke Underwood, and Robert Blaze Underwood; great-grandchildren, Hadley Underwood, Corlen Underwood, Chance Underwood, Alesia Pride, and Nevaeh Pride.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
