Nancy Shamwell

Nancy Ann Shamwell, age 82 of Greenbrier, passed away on November 17, 2018 at home with loving family by her side. Funeral services will be held on 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 until the hour of service.
Nancy was born in Springfield, TN on February 3, 1936 to the late Jasper and Ruby Wilson Hud-gens. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ and retired from Jostens. She was preceded in death by her son, James Michael Shamwell and siblings, Ray Hudgens, Wood Hudgens, Jay Hudgens, Nelda Rosson, Melba Cummings, Sara Carter and Becky Arnce.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, James Shamwell; son, Jim (Glynda) Shamwell; daughter, Karen Mabry; brother, Jimmy Hudgens; sister, Faye York; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
